Writing credentials
A failed asronaut (I don't like heights), I started out as a newspaper reporter (NCTJ) at the West Sussex County Times in England. I loved interviewing people and writing stories, but I didn't like the intrusive side of reporting, so I moved into copywriting and content writing.
I've written for award-winning agencies (Wardour) and (Glow), plus leading trade journals (Doctor, Hospital Doctor and MicroScope). Now a freelancer, I write digital and print content for companies large and small, on subjects as diverse as finance, property, technology, engineering, recruitment, sustainability and inclusion.

English training credentials
A qualified English language teacher (Cambridge CELTA) I spent six years in France as an English coach.
I started at language schools in Marseille and then became self-employed as a coach, writer and editor for international companies including Ricard, Virtual Expo, Bourbon and Randstad.
I returned to the UK in 2015 (I missed the tea), freelancing for London's top business English school, the London School of English. I now provide personalised English coaching online for non-native English speakers worldwide, including staff at RWE, Germany's largest energy company.
